Johnny is a newcomer to the shelter.
His story is no different than the story of many animals around the world - he lived in the countryside and was cared for, but the owner died and his loved ones have no place for a dog in their home ...
So, after spending a long time on a shingle without any care, Johnny came to the shelter with his canine companion, his condition not at all pink - they are extremely weak and afraid to relax. They do not know how to behave among other dogs or how to fit into the new environment.
They enjoy every attention and every prize. Although still a little distrustful, they seek and enjoy human contact.
If you give Johnny a chance, he will become a wonderful dog.

Johnny came to the shelter at the end of last summer, along with Jenny and they were both in very serious condition - skin and bones dying of hunger and fear: at the moment, Johnny is unrecognizable.
With us, he has become a new dog (the only thing left to him from his previous life is gluttony, which is pretty obvious😂), who loves walking, people, treats and not only liking life in the cage, which bothers him to death.
After living only on a chain and not seeing any attention from his man, and after months, since he has been in the shelter and has no interest in it, we are left with the hope that any of you will see in him his best friend and give him a chance to get to know the best part of life - that of a wanted and loved pet.

Johnny is that skeleton dog that some of you may remember from late summer.
The puppy he came with - Jenny - is happily adopted, but he is still in the shelter waiting for his luck.
Johnny's only downside is .... his gluttony🤔. He walks on leash, loves attention and people, gets along with other dogs in the cage ..Would you give him a chance?

Today we will remind you of Johnny's story because it seems to us that after a serious change in his appearance, you can not recognize him and forget about him. 😜
Jonny is a typical example of the Bulgarian idea of a yard guard dog: for his former owners, it is not a problem to receive one piece of bread a day and to be tied in a corner. In the picture above you can see in what condition Johnny came to us. And about behavioral problems, we don't even want to tell you: this fear in his eyes could not be described in words.
Today, half a year later, Jonny is a new dog, in every sense of the word.
He has become a stool, so there is an urgent need for movement, for which he learned to walk on a leash, thanks to our volunteers. 🥰
Also, he has a brand new manicure, and from his fears ... there is almost no trace.
Jonny is still not brave in his dealings with people, and he needs some time, just to make sure no one hurts him.
He loves attention, he loves food even more. He is not a capricious dog and after a long time spent on a leash, he enjoys even the little freedom he sees in the cage in the shelter. Even more, he enjoys the rare moments when someone pays attention to him.
Friends, Johnny has been through a lot, both before and with us.
