It was the ordinary Friday at the shelter. Walking the dogs as always. Nothing really out of the ordinary. Walked first Hana and the rest of the cage.
Ah! I have to introduce you to Nemo.
He is shy and and just screams 'Adorable!' with his personality!
Walking that cage's dogs was always hard. And it still is. But we manage. Btw, I see my teacher getting old in front of my eyes. I could just see it in her eyes that she just gets tired fast. Ah... I wish I had a driving license... I wish I was 18...
Anyway the last dogs we had to walk were Gaby, The Grandpa and Delphina. Seeing how my teacher grabbed Delphina, the wildest one, I grabbed Gaby and I guess someone of my friends got the Grandpa, but I don't remember who exactly it was. Anyway, after a little of walking I saw my exhausted teacher and we exchanged dogs. I was so carefree and running like wild with Delphina. Watching her run, it was obvious she's been growing in a backyard. After what seemed to be a long time, I decided to sit and rest, suddenly noticing that I was alone with Delphina.
I looked around and didn't hear a sound. I sat there for like 10 minutes without anyone telling me anything or even making a sound neither I shouted to them. I started thinking things that were so ridiculous and I knew it, but I couldn't stop thinking them. I felt scared. I really did. I felt angry because I was left alone, and because my lip was trembling of fear and because of the things I was thinking. So when finally somebody, my friend Gaby, remembered I'm still existing I was called to take Delphina back in her cage.
I was angry at everyone but I felt closer to the dog.
And that's what mattered the most.
